ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - Joe Marciano scored twice and Colorado College beat Alaska Anchorage 4-2 Thursday night in the WCHA Final Five.
William Rapuzzi and Tim Hall also scored for the fourth-seeded Tigers (22-17-3), who will face top-seeded North Dakota in Friday's semifinal. Bemidji State and Denver meet in the other semifinal.
Marciano, who had one goal in 71 career games, doubled that total in the second period.
His first goal came at 4:39 when his shot from the right circle deflected off the skate of defenseman Craig Parkinson and into the Alaska Anchorage net for a 3-0 lead. Parkinson lifted his left foot to avoid the puck, but it went off his right skate.
After Mickey Spencer got the Seawolves (16-18-3) within one at 14:57, Marciano scored on a rising slapshot from the blueline with 17.7 seconds left in the period.
Luka Vidmar scored late in the third for Alaska Anchorage.
