Temperatures dropped to -20 to -10 early Thursday. Lingering low clouds could bring a few flurries, but those clouds will begin thinning, allowing the sun to start a warm up today. We will only reach into the teens with some 20's in higher elevations west of the interstate today. Tomorrow, some 40's will feel like a warm morning on a tropical island after the extreme cold that hasn't been a hurry to move out for much of this week.
Remember to dress in layered clothing. Not bundling up properly can lead to hypothermia quickly, especially with the wind blowing. Also be cautious on roads where black ice has been present.
