Thunderwolves already setting bar high

For as good as the Thunderwolves have been recently, the best college football team in Colorado, they've seen disappointed faces like this too much for coach Wristen.

CSU-Pueblo is getting set to begin their 2014 slate, and the head man says they're not satisfied with 3 straight 11 win seasons, and 3 straight early playoff exits.

"Our next step is this: to win the last game," said Wristen at the Sports Corps Football Kickoff Luncheon. "And that's what our kids are working towards. We just don't want to get into the playoffs anymore, we have a higher expectation with we where we want to go. We feel very fortunate with what we've been able to do. And so now, we got to take it to another level. Our expectation is to go win the last game."

The T-wolves kick off their season at home, September 4th against West Texas A&M.
