Monday will start off on the cool sunny side, but clouds will increase on the Front Range and in the mountains by the noon hour. A wave of energy will push into the Front Range Mountains and then onto the adjacent plains shortly after noon. This wave will be the trigger for thunderstorms to develop a little earlier than usual. Temperatures on Monday will be similar to where we have been over the last couple of days. Daytime highs will heat up beginning midweek.
Monday Forecast:
Colorado Springs: 30% chance for afternoon thunderstorms, high 79
Pueblo: 30% chance for afternoon storms, high 85
Monument: 30% chance for storms, high 75
Teller County: 40% chance for storms, high 69
