Thunderstorms developed over the higher elevations and have pushed across the I-25 corridor. Southern El Paso county has picked up some decent rain this afternoon. Storms will continue to push southeast at about 15 mph. A pocket of drier air moves in tonight and sticks around into the weekend. With the dry air comes hotter than average temperatures. A weak front arrives early saturday with slightly cooler temps and maybe an isolated pm thunderstorm.
