Three small fires burning near Cheyenne Canyon

The El Paso County Sheriffs Office Dispatch has confirmed that the El Paso County Wild-land Fire Crews are en route to three small fires burning in what has been determined to be National Forest land near North Cheyenne Canyon and below Mays Peak.
National Forest Service Fire Crews are on scene and are evaluating now. At the moment the cause of these fires are unknown. We will continue to update as information comes available.
