Information is coming in from our sister station KUSA 9 News in Denver about a Frontier flight en route from Denver to Detroit was taken to a remote location upon landing. Witness statements say that two passengers were observed behaving suspiciously and spending extraordinarily long periods of time in the lavatory.
Authorities on the ground were notified before the plane's arrival in Detroit. Frontier flight 623 had originated in San Diego before stopping in Denver and continuing on to Detroit.
Upon arrival the aircraft was directed to taxi and hold at a remote pad a good distance from the terminal. TSA and other authorities were bussed to the aircraft to investigate. K9 units inspected all luggage from the aircraft and the passengers were eventually transported to the terminal. A total of three passengers were reportedly taken into custody.
