Thousands dance to "Thriller" in hopes of a World Record

Michael Jackson fans all over the country and the world are hoping that they thrilled the world on Saturday. There were thousands of people from the west coast to the east coast, from north to south, and all over the world that gathered at exactly 8:30 pm (eastern time) Saturday to dance like zombies, hoping they'd end up in the Guinness World Book of Records as a result.
They danced in costume to Michael Jackson's "Thriller" song, to attempt a world record by having the most people perform the same dance at the same time. The current Guinness Record is held by the dance "hokey pokey", which was set in Belmar, New Jersey last November.
