The Occupy house renovations in Pueblo are still going on, but they say they have made some headway.
Yesterday a roof was donated an put on the home on 5th Street, and sometime in the next few weeks students from Pueblo Community College are going to do all the electrical wiring.
They say the home will be used as an Occupy meeting place and for community gatherings, but it was also a beautifying project for the neighborhood.
"Boarded up, it doesn't do the neighborhood any good," said Janet Wilson, Occupy organizer. "It's not a good feeling to see things board up, to come walk out your front door."
Of course they're still keeping up with the Occupy movement, which they say hasn't fizzled out.
They're taking three RV's on the road at the end of October.
