A stagnant weather pattern will advertise very similar weather for southern Colorado on Monday. Really the only change our communities in southern Colorado will experience is a slight increase in thunderstorm chances for Monday. Isolated storms are possible for the I-25 corridor and points west. A good chance of afternoon storms will be back for the Continental Divide and points to the west on Monday. A much better chance for afternoon storms will come into the forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday for our area. The heat will not let up for the week ahead.
Monday forecast:
Colorado Springs: Mostly sunny, isolated pm storms, high 93
Pueblo: Partly cloudy, high 101
Monument: Isolated pm storms, high 89
Teller County: 30% for a pm storm, high 82
