Heat will be the weather theme for the week ahead. After a comfortable weekend, afternoon temperatures will again rise to the well above average level for the start of the new week. Thunderstorms Monday will be very isolated with most areas along the I-25 corridor and eastern plains only with a 10% chance or less of seeing rainfall. Mountains only have about a 20% chance for storms on Monday. A better chance for wet weather will come into play late in the week.
Monday Forecast:
Colorado Springs: Partly cloudy in the afternoon, 10% chance for a storm, high 91
Pueblo: Just a few afternoon clouds, 10% chance for a storm, high 100
Monument: Partly cloudy in the pm, 10% chance for a storm, high 87
Teller County: 20% chance for an afternoon storm, high 77
