Texas man robs Pueblo West dispensary, ties up employees

PUEBLO COUNTY - A brazen armed robbery at a Pueblo West dispensary resulted in the arrest of a man on numerous felony charges.  The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office says they got a call around 7:00 a.m. Monday reporting a man forcing an employee of Cannasseur Marijuana Dispensary into the store at gunpoint.  Once inside the store, the suspect tied the hands of employees, ripped the phones from the wall and took a large amount marijuana.  While he was inside, deputies surrounded the building and arrested the suspect when he exited.

Police have identified the man arrested as Texas resident David Lopez, 40.  Police say Lopez was found with a 9mm Glock pistol with 30 round magazine as well as the stolen items.

Deputies believe that Lopez was casing at least two other marijuana dispensaries in Pueblo West.

Lopez is being booked into Pueblo County Jail for False Imprisonment, Kidnapping, Aggravated Robbery and Menacing.
