Territorial Prison on lockdown

The old Territorial Prison in Canon City is on lockdown after two prisoners assaulted three correctional officers, according to the Department of Corrections.
The incident happened in a dining hall and was under control quickly. One of the officers did need medical attention, but his injuries are not serious. There were no weapons involved.
Prisoners will be confined to their cells until further notice.
