Colorado Springs Police report that a 17 year old shooting victim was at Memorial Hospital early this morning with two gun shot wounds to his leg.

At around 2:00 am Memorial Hospital contacted Colorado Springs Police from the Falcon Division because a 17 y/o male was in the emergency room with two gun shot wounds to the leg. When officers contacted the unidentified minor they were unable to gain any information because the minor was uncooperative.

The victim did state that he was at a party at an undisclosed location when a fight broke out, and as he ran from the scene, he was shot twice. The victim then told police that he was brought to the hospital by an unidentified friend who was not available for questioning.

The victim's wounds were not life threatening and an investigation is still pending. No arrests have been made at this time.
