AURORA, Colo. (AP) - Aurora police say one teenage boy suffered serious injuries when a car involved in a large street race crashed into his vehicle.
Police Lt. Jeff Turner says the teenager who was injured was not participating in the race at the time of the crash, but that he and his passengers were there to watch the races Sunday night.
According to the Aurora Sentinel, police say it's unclear if the teenager will survive. Police say two passengers in his Honda Civic were also injured, but not as seriously.
Police say the Honda was making a turn when it was struck by a BMW believed to be involved in the street race on Smith Road near Ensenada Street. Authorities are trying to locate the people in the BMW.
