Teen arrested for Canon City burglaries

A Canon City teen has been arrested in an investigation into a number of burglaries that have happened at commercial buildings in Fremont County.
Officers tied the suspect to each of the crimes through evidence found at each location. The burglaries happened at an optometrist's office, a second hand story and a construction trailer.
The juvenile suspect was taken to the Pueblo Youth Center to await an initial hearing.
Detective Sergeant Robbie Dodd said further arrests are pending.
