The TEA Party plans a candidate forum for potential U.S. Senators on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Ute Pass Cultural Center in Woodland Park. A news release announcing the event describes the TEA Party as a group of "American patriots, unaffiliated with any political party, who uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States."

Senate candidates Ken Buck, Jane Norton, Cleve Tidwell, Steve Barton and Tom Wiens are scheduled to attend. Senator Michael Bennet was invited but according to a news release from the TEA Party, will not attend.

The candidates will be asked a series of questions in a public forum. There will be no debate, but each candidate will be given time to make an opening statement.
