The Classical Academy soccer player Josh Mesward is this week's Loaf ‘N Jug Gatorade Athlete of the Week.
Josh is a huge reason why TCA is playing in Tuesday night's 3A state championship game. He made a couple incredible saves in the Titans penalty-kick semifinal win against Kent Denver.
On Tuesday, he plays for a state title and is KOAA-5's Athlete of the week-a double-dose of good news for the senior goalkeeper.
"It's awesome," says Josh. "I feel super honored. It's been a good week for soccer. I think we'll be a lot more focused this year and not have that wow-factor of being at dick's Sporting Goods [Park]."
Tuesday's championship game is at 7 p.m. at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City. It's TCA versus Faith Christian.
Josh also has a stellar 3.8 GPA and enjoys to ski.
