The federal government says that three cows sent to Colorado from Washington state tested positive for unsafe drug residue.
Rhody Dairy in Washington state is facing federal food safety charges for administering antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs to cows in unapproved dosages without prescriptions.
That dairy allegedly sent tainted cows to six states for slaughter, including Colorado.
