The World Synchronized Skating Championships will return to Colorado Springs next month at the World Arena.
Synchronized skating is a team sport featuring 8 to 20 athletes performing a program together. It uses the same judging system as singles, pairs and ice dance. All teams perform a free skate routine with required elements in their program. Teams are entered from the United States, Australia, Finland, Japan, Austria, France, new Zealand, Belgium, Germany, Russia, Canada, Hungary, South Africa, Croatia, Iceland, Switzerland, Italy, Sweden and the Czech Republic.
Tickets run $12.00 to $17.00 and are available at the World Arena box office, or on the internet.
