In statistics released Friday, H1N1 swine flu remains sporadic in Colorado. But illnesses have increased around us--there are localized outbreaks in Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and Oklahoma. Things are even worse in Nevada--it's one of seven states reporting regional outbreak. The good news is that no states have widespread illness.

The continued flu activity, especially localized outbreaks, bears out the concerns of health officials who fear a fresh wave of cases before the typical end of flu season, later this spring.
