'Suspicious' package in Monument determined to be a lunchbox

An oddly-placed lunchbox caused the shutdown of several streets in Monument Saturday afternoon. The bomb squad was called in to determine what was inside a package at the Santa Fe Trailhead. Its placement at the trailhead drew suspicion from onlookers and Monument police. The package was determined to be a lunchbox with a bottle of cold Gatorade inside. Streets that were shut down during the investigation have since reopened.
