Suspect in two bank robberies arrested

A Pueblo West man has been arrested for two robberies that happened over the last 8 months.  US Bank, located inside the Safeway in Pueblo West was robbed on February 26.  The robber was wearing a black leather coat, sunglasses, a black skull cap, blue jeans and white tennis shoes. The robbery suspect presented a dark revolver when he robbed the bank.

Within a few days Sheriff's detectives along with Pueblo Police Detective Glenn Fillmore and agents from the FBI discovered the same man had robbed the US Bank inside Albertson's on Highway 50 in the City of Pueblo on August 18, 2009.

Tips led detectives and the FBI to a suspect who lives in Pueblo West.  Tuesday, 44 year old, Greg Labadie of Pueblo West was arrested. Simultaneously the search warrants were served on the Pueblo West home and his vehicles.

The investigation is continuing.
