A teenager arrested last week for shooting three other teens, and killing one of them, is now charged as an adult.
At a hearing this afternoon in Pueblo District Court, the Pueblo District Attorney's Office gave notice that Myles Johnson, 16, will be charged with 1st Degree Murder and two counts of Attempted Murder.
The shooting happened on Outlook Boulevard about 9 o'clock Thursday night. Police believe Johnson opened fire while in the back seat of a car, shooting the three other teenagers who were with him. Police said it appeared to be a drug deal that turned into a robbery. Marco Morales was shot in the head and died, David Lucero and Isaiah Chacon were shot multiple times and are still hospitalized.
This afternoon in court, Johnson was ordered moved from a juvenile detention facility to the Pueblo County Jail. He'll be held in a section segregated from adults. His bail was set at $500,000.
Johnson will appear court on January 20.
