INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Rupert Boneham earned a nifty $1 million as the fan favorite on 2004's "Survivor: All-Stars." Now the bushy-bearded, tie-dye-wearing Boneham is hoping Indiana voters will find him just as charming.

The 47-year-old Boneham announced Saturday that he's seeking the Libertarian Party nomination for Indiana governor. He told reporters in Indianapolis that he's the best man for the job because he thinks voters have been failed by the "professional politicians" they've always elected.

Boneham put some of his `Survivor' winnings toward establishing a charity, Rupert's Kids, that provides mentoring and job training for troubled teens.

GOP Rep. Mike Pence and former Democratic Indiana House Speaker John Gregg are the early favorites to replace Republican Gov. Mitch Daniels, who can't run again because he has reached his term limit.
