For the first time ever, the NFL sold tickets to Super Bowl Media Day, and some 5,000 fans turned out. They flocked to Lucas Oil Stadium, in Indianapolis, to watch members of the media from around the world interview the Patriots and Giants players.
The fans received gift bags that included radios, so they could listen to the NFL Network's coverage of the event and the answers from the players themselves. Super Bowl merchandise was also available.
