TONIGHT: First night of December will be mild with partly cloudy skies. Low temps only fall to 37 for the Springs and 30 in Pueblo. Places like Walsenburg and Canon City will stay at 40 or higher!
SUNDAY: Weather for the second day of the new month sounds just like the weather we had for the 1st! Expect mostly sunny skies and a little bit of a westerly breeze during the afternoon. Maximum temps tomorrow will warm to 64 in Colorado Springs and 69 again in Pueblo.
MONDAY: Breezy early as a weak cool front pushes into eastern Colorado. Thanks to that front our high temps will drop about 8-10 degrees compared to Sunday's toasty temps. Skies will be mostly sunny by afternoon and winds will calm down as the front moves east.
TUESDAY: Cold start to the day with temps in the upper 20's in the Springs and lower 20's in Pueblo. By afternoon our highs will make it up to the mid 50's for Colorado Springs and about 60 in Pueblo....very close to Monday's highs.
WEDNESDAY: Your mid week forecast will be mostly sunny and very warm again before our next change in the weather arrives. Mid 60's in the Springs and upper 60's in Pueblo. A couple of spots on the plains could reach the low 70's again. Late Wednesday night we'll start to see a little bit of light snow starting to fall across western Colorado before our chance for a shower or two Thursday night.
THURSDAY: A rather weak storm system will bring some more showers to western Colorado in spots...mostly light accumulations. By late in the day and especially Thursday night a cool front will blow into our neck of the woods and bring us a chance of some light rain or snow. Chances only about 20% for the Springs and Pueblo...slightly higher chances over the mountains close to home. Chances on the plains for La Junta, Lamar and Springfield will be a little lower.
FRIDAY: Behind that weak storm system it will be sunny and chilly to end the week. High temps will only reach 47 for Colorado Springs and 50 in Pueblo.
