Cheyenne Mountain State Park in Colorado Springs has come up with a way to back-back summer boredom for kids. Each Saturday a different Junior Ranger topic is offered.
Junior Ranger Handbooks are available at the Visitor Center or Camper Services. Complete the activities in the handbook (for ages 7-12 years) to earn a level one Junior Ranger badge. To become a level two Junior Ranger and earn a colorful Junior Ranger patch you must complete the handbook activities and attend a Junior Ranger program.
The remaining programs this month:

July 17, 1:00 p.m.
July 24, 11:00 a.m.
July 31, 1:00 p.m.
