High school students look to the future!

It was a chance for them to meet people who work in their desired career field and learn more about their options, like college, the Armed Forces, or technical training centers.

Those involved say it's important to plan ahead.

"A lot of students are finding they have to go to college to be able to get into the workforce, so this is definitely critical, especially in today's economy," said Carriann Martinez, Interim Dean of Student Success at Pueblo Community College.

The event was made possible by Partners in Education, Pueblo Community College, CSU-Pueblo, and Junior Achievement.
