Strong storms possible again today! At this point though, there are no watches or warnings in place.
While the storms won't be as widespread as they've been, we still are seeing the atmospheric conditions in place for large hail, gusty winds and flash flooding. So if a storm develops in your area, know that it could quickly turn severe. The same thing will happen on Thursday, where the chances for showers goes down, but still, anything that DOES develop could turn severe. So be on the look again through the next few days!
Temperatures will go up the rest of the week. This will be because we'll have more sunshine around... especially through the mornings. Highs today will be 83° for Springs, 92° for Pueblo. Tomorrow, we climb another 5+ degrees with highs in the mid 90s for Pueblo and upper 80s for Springs.
Friday through Sunday, temperatures hover in the upper 80s and mid 90s for much of the region. It does look like we'll see a nice weekend ahead, although the heat may get to some, so I'm sure lots of A/Cs will be running at full speed. We'll also keep in a spotty shower or two, but most places do stay dry.
Happy Wednesday... Meteorologist Valerie Abati.
