Stretch of Union closed after water main break

A stretch of northbound Union Blvd. is closed after an 8 inch water main broke overnight. Utility crews say northbound Union Boulevard is closed between Austin Bluffs and Garden Ranch Drive.
It will be closed between Austin Bluffs and Garden Ranch Drive through the day Monday, while they work to repair both the line and the road that has partially collapsed. Motorists who travel that route are advised to take a different way home tonight. But the road should be open sometime Monday evening.
Utilities workers also say no residents should be affected by water outages.
