Bringing back streetcars is an idea rolling through Colorado Springs.
A group is studying the possibility, looking into whether it's financially feasible and if there's public interest. The study is being paid for by a federal grant and private donations. "Other streetcar projects throughout the country have been very successful in recreating development along the streetcar lines," said Rich Guy, a member of the Streetcar Task Force.
You can attend a public meeting on the study on Tuesday, Jan. 12 from 7:30 - 9 p.m. at the City Administration Building (30 S. Nevada Ave.).
A second public meeting will happen in May.
