Street to close as Parkview Hospital construction continues

Construction of a six-story tall tower under construction at Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo will force the closure of one block of Grand Avenue for about a month. Beginning February 4, Grand Ave. will be closed between 16th and 17th Streets.
The tower is nearly complete, but construction continues on sidewalks and curbing along Grand. The tower includes more than 50 private patient rooms, a new main entrance, gift shop and cafe. The project should be finished by early summer.
