This summer in Pueblo prepare to be dazzled by singers, dancers and other live acts. For the third year in a row, street performers will showcase their talents in Downtown Pueblo and the Mesa Junction areas.
Today about a dozen groups auditioned for the Pueblo Performing Arts Guild. The try-outs were held on the Pueblo riverwalk. During the summer the acts will perform live for free. The idea is to attract more people downtown and help boost business.
"In the past we've had jugglers and clowns and magicians, so we try to get as diverse of a group as possible," said Susan Fries, with the Pueblo Performing Arts Guild. The live street performances will start in June.
