Stranger Danger alert in Pueblo West

The Pueblo County Sheriff's Department is warning kids and parents in Pueblo West to be on alert after an incident of stranger danger. A 14 year old girl reports a man asked her if she needed a ride home near Liberty Point Elementary (formerly Pueblo West Elementary) on Hahns Peak Ave., Thursday.
We're told she pulled out her cell phone to call for help and the man took off.
The girl says the white man was in his 20's and was driving a very old, red and rusty van with one large window in the back and several windows on the sides. She also says a young boy was in the van with the man.
If you have any information you're asked to call the Sheriff's Office. The Pueblo County Undersheriff also says it's a good reminder to talk to your kids about stranger danger.
