Still cool and active Monday

Skies will become partly cloudy overnight with morning lows Monday in the 50s for most spots. The active weather continues Monday with isolated showers and storms possible once again for the lower elevations and scattered showers and storms possible over the mountains and in the foothills. Highs Monday will stay below average for this time of year in the 70s/80s.

The region starts to dry out as we head towards the middle of the week. Expect a partly sunny and mainly dry 4th of July. A spotty shower or storm is possible by next weekend but mainly for mountain locations and for areas near the foothills.  Highs will warm back into the 80s/90s for the second half of the week.
