Steelworks Museum celebrates cultural days in July

The Steelworks Museum of Industry and Culture will be celebrating culture with the Family Summer Ethnic Heritage Series the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Saturdays in July. Cost to attend each day is $5 and includes admission to the museum and CF&I Mine Rescue Rail Car No.1 (members of the Bessemer Historical Society get all 3 days for $10).

July 10th is Mexican Fiesta Day, with instruction into the making of homemade salsa, piñatas and mosiacs.

July 17th is Slovenian Day, and participants will learn to make gingerbread houses.

July 24th is Italian Day, with the making of pizelles.

All activities will take place from 9am to Noon in the Bessemer community room at the museum. Ethnic Heritage Days are open to all ages.
