ARLINGTON (AP) - This was media day at the Super Bowl. Players from the competing teams, Green Bay and Pittsburgh, met with reporters at the site of Sunday's game, Cowboys Stadium. The Packers were first up and after an hour break the Steelers had their turn.

Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey says he still hopes to play in the Super Bowl against the Packers despite dealing with a high left ankle sprain. Pouncey was off crutches at media day, but still has a bulky walking boot on his left foot.

Because of the cold weather in the Dallas area the roof of the stadium was closed, as it will be for Sunday's game as well.

Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger deflected questions about his suspension, stressing his desire to be a role model and praised just about anyone involved in this Super Bowl.

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers wasn't any more revealing during the Packers' one-hour session.

The forecast calls for cold weather this week in Dallas but on game day the high is expected to be in the 50's. Either way, the league has announced that the roof will be closed for the game as well.
