Staff, faculty holding public meeting over CSU-Pueblo budget cuts

CSU-Pueblo is moving forward with cutting up to 50 positions, but some people are urging the university to look at other options.

There will be a community meeting Saturday at the Rawlings Public Library, 100 E. Abriendo Ave., from 4-6 p.m.

Some staff and faculty members will go over the negative impact they think these cuts will have on the community.

CSU-Pueblo has to trim $3.3 million from next year's budget.

CSU System Chancellor Michael Martin will be holding a forum on January 17th, releasing more information on the cuts.
