Stabbing sends one man to hospital and another to jail

Colorado Springs Police are investigating a stabbing that took place at around 1:30am Saturday in the 1700 block of Arbor Way.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found 37 year old Christian Bowie outside of a residence suffering from what appeared to be a stabbing wound to the abdomen. As they continued to investigate and secure the scene, officers found a suspect later identified as 37 year old Shawn Saunders where he was taken into custody.
Police state that Mr. Bowie was injured inside the house, but the cause of the assault is still under investigation. Mr. Bowie's injuries were deemed non life threatening and Mr. Saunders was arrested for Assault in the Second Degree along with an outstanding, unrelated warrant.
