It was a St. Patty's Day themed practice dive for the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office Volunteer Dive Team.
The practice out at the Riverwalk is meant to mimic real life situations.
Although today they were diving to find a bag of treasure for St. Patty's, the skills they learn will help them when they have to do real water search and rescues.
"We want the newer divers and the experienced divers to get out there, get the gear on, get used to the different weights that we have to do, the climate of the water, the outside air temperature," said Doug Cullison of the Volunteer Dive Team. "Just working together as a team is a big factor in this."
This is just one of many themed practice dives they do each year to prepare for the real world.
