With cooler weather coming, Colorado Springs Utilities is suggesting it's customers call them to get an energy audit for their homes. Heat can excape from many areas and cost home owners. They also say that some things can be done that don't cost anything. For instance, keeping vents free from obstructions, reversing ceiling fans, moving furnature away from doors and windows all help. Let the light in. Open drapes during the day to allow the sun in and close them at night to keep the heat in.
