Springs firefighters think kids started building fire

A fire at 127 University Dr. in Colorado Springs appears to have been set by kids.
Firefighters shared that information with a News First 5 crew on the scene.
The backside of a 4-plex apartment caught fire. It looks like the kids set a mattress and other debris on fire.
Witnesses saw several kids in that area and then saw them run away shortly before noticing the fire.
Firefighters were on the scene within a couple of minutes and thankfully put the fire out. Luckily no one was injured and none of the residents will be displaced.
Colorado Springs Police are now looking for the kids.
