Springs fire trains for rescues at the zoo

The Colorado Springs Fire Department is training for high angle rescue at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.  ''Mountaineer Sky Ride is one of the most popular exhibits at the zoo. To prepare for an emergency that would require evacuating the ride, firefighters are practicing high angle techniques to get people down safely.  Since the ride opened four years ago, the fire department has had to respond for rescues twice.
