The doctors of Academy Women's Healthcare have delivered more than 20,000 healthy babies since their practice began in the early 1990's.

In recognition of the milestone, the doctors held a celebration at their offices Tuesday and even had gifts for Amaias Havskjold, who was lucky baby number 20,000, and his parents Kirsten and Kelly.

Also as part of the celebration, the docs gave a special donation to the non-profit group Maternity of Mary which help mothers and pregnant women in crisis.

"When I first started the practice with another doc 16 years ago, we started keeping track of all our deliveries starting with number 1," explains founding partner Doctor David Stark. "I never would have imagined that some day we'd be talking about 20,000."

Doctor Stark says and his fellow doctors are looking forward to the next 20,000.
