Halloween came in not only came a day early for many youngsters in Colorado Springs, but it also came in with a splash.

The Colorado Springs Recreation Center celebrated its 2nd annual Spook N' Splash. Kids came in costume to trick-or-treat, decorate pumpkins with arts and crafts, walk through a haunted house in the basement, and finally end the festivities with a splash in the pool.

Even some of the life guards were dressed in costume.

The event lasts until 5pm today. Face paint is allowed, but it has to be completely washed off before going into the pool.

Admission is $5 per person. You can save $1 if you donate a non-perishable food item, which will be donated to Care and Share. The rest of the admission fee goes to fund scholarship programs for swim lessons.
