Former Kiss star Ace Frehley is facing foreclosure on his New York home after allegedly falling behind on payments.
The guitarist has reportedly not paid his Yorktown pad's mortgage since March 1, 2011, and now officials at the U.S. Bank National Association are taking action against the rocker.
According to LoHud.com, executives filed legal papers on Feb. 15 asking a court to order a sale of the house to cover the outstanding balance, which amounts to $703,582 plus interest, late fees and other expenses.
The house is two stories and had three bedrooms and three bathrooms on three acres of land. Frehley, 61, has a recording studio in the house, where he recorded his 2009 album 'Anomaly.' It was his first solo-record in 20 years and it climbed to number 27 on the Billboard charts. It was his best showing in since his 1978 self-titled debut album, which was certified platinum. Frehley has pursued a solo career on-and-off since 1978. He last left the band in 2002 following a reunion tour.
Frehley has also allegedly fallen behind on the property's county, town and school taxes -- in total he owes $18,558 stemming from the years 2011 and 2012.
