Sox fall to River Cats in Sacramento

WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Center fielder Jai Miller hit his team-leading seventh home run of the season as Sacramento topped Colorado Springs 6-2 on Friday night at Raley Field. River Cats starter Josh Outman allowed two runs over 5.0 innings, striking out three and earning the win. River Cats catcher Anthony Recker went 3-for-4 with a run and a double to boost his average to .359 on the season. Sacramento has won eight of its last 10 games and 16 of 22.
