A recent report says 166,790 people in southern Colorado are food insecure, meaning they don't know where their next meal will come from.
Feeding America released a national research report, also looking at county and congressional districts for the entire nation. This is the second year for the "Map the Meal Gap" study; numbers show the national rate as well as southern Colorado to be similar to last year's numbers.
Tuesday evening on News 5 we'll take a look at what's it's going to take, and what's being done, to fill the hunger gap. Also, we'll take a closer look at the struggles of being food insecure and what it's like to continuously search for your next meal.
