Some strong winds today.....Saturday's will be stronger

Winds were gusty today, which is why it was so warm. (When they blow from the west, those Chinook winds make us warmer and drop the humidity). Here's a sample of some of the gusts today around the News 5 viewing area.
44 mph Colorado Springs
44 mph Pueblo
62 mph Woodmen-Roberts (NW side of Colorado Springs)
57 mph CSU-Pueblo (North side of the city)
52 mph Falcon
50 mph USAF Academy
43 mph Monument
39 mph Fountain
As strong as those winds were, Saturday's are likely to be higher, as a cold front races in from the west.
